  1. Clean and trim the green beans. In a large skillet, bring the chicken broth and garlic to simmer over medium heat. Add the lemon thyme and green beans. Cover and cook approximately 6-8 minutes until beans are tender. Chicken broth is nearly evaporated at this point. Remove and discard the lemon thyme sprigs. Add salt, pepper, olive oil, and juice of one lemon.
