Seasoned Garlic Butter
- Combine butter, parsley, garlic, lemon zest, thyme, rosemary, basil, and Cookies Flavor Enhancer in a medium bowl. Transfer to parchment paper, roll into the shape of a log. Roll to about 1 1/2" in diameter, twist the ends closed. Refrigerate until ready to use; keeps in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Sizzle the Steaks
- Preheat oven to broil. Place an oven proof skillet in the oven...I use a cast iron skillet.
- Using a paper towel, pat both sides of the steak dry. Drizzle with olive oil; if desired season the steak with salt and pepper. Remove skillet from the oven and heat over medium- high heat.
- Place the steaks in the middle of the skillet until a dark crust has formed, usually no longer than a minute. Using tongs, flip and cook for no longer than an additional minute.
- Place skillet in the oven and cook until desired doneness is reached, 3-4 minutes for medium rare, flipping once. Remove from oven, place on the serving platter and rest for 3-5 minutes.
- Serve immediately with a dollop of seasoned garlic butter.
