Maple-Mustard Chicken

Maple-Mustard Chicken

A delicious tangy and sweet chicken breast.
Servings 6 people

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves large
  • 2 tbsp Mariposa Farms Fresh Rosemary chopped
  • 2 tbsp Mariposa Farms Fresh Chives chopped
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
  • 6 chicken breast boneless, skinless

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a heavy large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic; saute 30 seconds.
  • Add chopped herbs and vinegar; cook 30 seconds.
  • Pour into a bowl.
  • Whisk in syrup and mustard.
  • Place chicken in a glass baking dish.
  • Pour marinade over, turn to coat.
  • Sprinkle with pepper.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet on medium high heat.
  • Saute chicken for 2 minutes per side.
  • Reduce heat to medium and let chicken cook until browned and cooked through.
  • Transfer to a platter and garnish with fresh rosemary.
