Lavender Lemonade

A balance of the crispness and acidity of the lemons and freshness of lavender for a nostalgic, warm feeling on a Summer's day.

  • 16 ice cubes
  • 3/4 cup Mariposa Farms Fresh Lavender Leaves
  • 2 cup boiling water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 8 lemons
  • 5 cup cold water


  • Place ice cubes into a pitcher.
  • Place the lavender into a bowl and pour the boiling water over it.
  • Allow to steep for about 10 minutes before straining and discarding the lavender.
  • Mix the sugar into the hot lavender water.
  • Pour into the pitcher with ice.
  • Squeeze lemon juice into pitcher getting as much juice out as possible.
  • Top pitcher off with cool water and stir.
  • Adjust lemon and sugar to taste.
