Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Mariposa Farms Fresh Basil
- 2 tbsp Mariposa Farms Fresh Thyme
- 1 small bunch green onions
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3/4 cup long-grain rice uncooked
- 2 1/2 cup boiling water
- 2 tbsp butter

Instructions
- Finely Chop green onions and all of the fresh herbs.
- Heat oil in a heavy saucepan and add butter.
- When foamy, add rice and cook over moderate heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- When rice turns opaque add water, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
- Cover and simmer on low heat gently without stirring 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
- Add the chopped herbs and onions.
- Cover and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
