Cheesy Dill Scones

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cold, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup Mariposa Farms Fresh Chives chopped
  • 1/4 cup Mariposa Farms Fresh Baby Dill chopped
  • 1/2 cup low fat milk


  • Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Work butter into mixture with a fork until blended well. There should still be a few pea sized pieces. Mix in herbs and cheeses.
  • Add the milk and stir to combine. Place dough on a floured surface and knead gently until it comes together. Form into a disc approximately one inch thick. Cut into eight triangles.
  • Arrange triangles on a baking pan about two inches apart. Bake 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
