Steak and Herb Grilling Packets with Garlic Butter
A meal for easy clean up on the grill. Add different vegetables to your liking. You'll want to make this again and again! This will work with chicken an pork also.
Ingredients
- 1 lb red potatoes cut into one inch pieces
- 2 carrots sliced
- 1 red bell pepper diced or sliced
- 1/2 yellow onion diced or sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 lb sirloin steak cut into 1 inch cubes
- salt and pepper to taste
Garlic Butter
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 3 tbsp Mariposa Farms Fresh Parsley chopped
- 1 tsp Mariposa Farms Fresh Rosemary chopped
- 1 tsp Mariposa Farms Fresh Thyme chopped
- 4 tsp minced garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine potatoes, carrots, pepper and onion in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper, then toss with olive oil.
- Use 4 pieces of heavy aluminum foil (approximately 18 x 12). Evenly place vegetable mixture in center of each piece. Top with steak.
- In a small bowl mix butter, garlic, parsley, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper. Divide and spoon onto steak.
- Fold foil over, doubling ends and top, but do not wrap tightly. Leave a space for steam to gather.
- Place packets on the grill and cover. Grill for about 15 minutes until vegetables are tender and meat is cooked to your liking.
- You may flip the packet once on the grill toward the end of cooking to give the meat and vegetables a bit of a char.
- CAREFULLY open packets and serve.
